Budget crackers

These budget crackers are so simple and easy and take no time to make.

Don’t lose track while you’re cooking, click on an ingredient or step to tick it off so you know where you are up to.


  • 1 cup flour any kind (white, wholemeal or spelt are all good)
  • ½ teaspoon of salt
  • 1/3 cup of water




  1. Preheat oven to 180°C
  2. Mix together flour and salt
  3. Add water
  4. Mix well until it forms a dough (add more water if required)
  5. Roll out onto a floured surface – the thinner they are the crunchier they are
  6. Cut into preferred shapes
  7. Bake for 8-12 minutes
