Are you willing to cook offal?

In order to encourage Nose to Tail eating, Love Food Hate Waste challenges you to try eating a cut of meat you have never tasted before.

Let us know which of these recipes you would be willing to try and you will go into the draw to have the offal ingredient delivered to you.

Kidneys in sherry and mustard sauce

Brain popcorn with chilli mayo

Tripe with onion and parsley

How to enter

Comment on our Facebook post telling us which of these recipes you would be willing to try. We will select three winners (one for each of these recipes) and send them the offal they need to try the recipe.

If you aren’t on Facebook, then you can enter by emailing us at info@lovefoodhatewaste.co.nz. Please write “Nose to Tail competition” as your subject line, let us know which recipe you would make, your full name and your town or city.

The catch? The winners must share with us a photo of the finished dish once they have made it.

Terms and conditions: Competition open to New Zealand residents only. Winners will be announced on Monday 19 June. Love Food Hate Waste will arrange to have the offal delivered to your house via Preston’s Master Butcher. You will need to provide the other ingredients to make the recipe.
