Broccoleaf Breakfast Smoothie

The broccoli leaf may not be a famous 'super food' yet - but you will feel pretty super after starting your day with this smoothie.

  • 1 ripe banana
  • 1/2 cup yoghurt
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon ground LSA (linseed, sesame, almonds) optional
  • 1/2 teaspoon honey or to taste
  • 1 x broccoleaf (brocoli stem complete with leaves)


  1. Give the broccoleaf a thorough wash and then pat dry with a paper towel
  2. Put all of the ingredients into a blender or nutribullet and blend until smooth
