Broccoli

Store it: Keep broccoli in the fridge so it stays fresher.

Freeze it: Chop and blanch for three minutes before storing in sealed bag or container for up to three months.

Revive it: For limp broccoli, trim stalk and stand up in a container or jar of cold water. Place in the fridge for about an hour to firm up.

Cooked broccoli: Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days.

Tip: Broccoli stalks are edible! Slice and cook in stir fries, soups and stews or serve raw in salads.

Got leftovers? Try blitzing cooked broccoli with milk and seasoning to make a creamy sauce.
