8 ways with pumpkin

Buying a whole pumpkin can be a cost-effective way to feed your family.

But unless you have lots of mouths to feed, you may find you get bored mid-way through your pumpkin.

Below are 8 different recipes – sweet and savoury – for pumpkin, many of which can be made with pre-cooked pumpkin.

If you do buy a whole pumpkin you can save time by roasting the whole pumpkin all at once and freezing what you’re not going to eat that day. In fact, you can roast a pumpkin whole (no cutting required) and then scoop out the flesh once it is cooked.

Alternatively, if you need to store cut pumpkin, wrap it tightly in cling wrap or a beeswax wrap (if using a beeswax wrap, make sure to remove the seeds first.)
