Experience a miso-glazed sweetcorn dish, where umami richness melds with natural sweetness. Each kernel is coated in a luscious glaze, creating a beautiful flavour blend, perfect for enhancing meals or as a standout side at gatherings.

  • 2 corn cobs
  • 1 Tbsp miso paste
  • 1 tsp runny honey
  • 1 Tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tsp sesame oil
  • ½ cup chopped fresh coriander
  • 2 Tbsp sesame seeds, toasted
  • 2 tsp fresh chillies, chopped
  • 1 Tbsp grated fresh ginger


  1. Cut corn cobs in half. Then each half down the middle, then each half in four, Removing any excess core.
  2. For the paste in a small bowl combine well the miso, honey, ginger, soy sauce and sesame oil.
  3. Preheat the BBQ to medium heat. Brush a little paste over the ribs.
  4. Place them onto the BBQ cooking for 2 or 3 minutes then turning for a further 5 or until cooked and nicely charred.
  5. Remove to a platter, brush with any extra paste, and sprinkle with seeds and coriander.
  6. Serve hot with a sprinkle of chilli.
