These deliciously seasoned snacks made from potato peels are the perfect way to reduce food waste while enjoying a crunchy treat everyone will love.

Ingredients

  • 6 Potato peels
  • Canola oil spray
  • 1 spoon paprika
  • 1 spoon oregano
  • 1/2 spoon garlic powder

Sauce

  • 100g tomato sauce
  • 2 tbsp of gochujang sauce or Sriracha
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup

Method

  1. Lay a paper towel on an oven tray.
  2. Dry the potato peels with a towel as much as possible, then place them in a bowl.
  3. Lightly spray with canola oil and sprinkle with salt to aid the dehydration process.
  4. Arrange the peels on the tray and dehydrate in the oven at 60°C for approximately 4 to 6 hours.
  5. Alternatively, place them on top of the kitchen hood for a couple of days, depending on the temperature in your home.
  6. Mix all sauce ingredients and adjust seasoning to taste.
